Hello Adventurers,

We are very sad to announce that LEGO Universe will be closing on Janurary 31, 2012. This was a very difficult decision to make, but unfortunately LEGO Universe has not been able to attract the number of members needed to keep the game open.

We are thankful to have had the opportunity to share this adventure wiith an amazing community of players. We hope you will continue to enjoy LEGO Universe for the last few months. As a thank you, if you are a paying subscriber on December 31, 2011, we will provide you the full game for the final month for free. Click here for the details.

Again, we want to thank the fantastic community of players who made LEGO Universe such a vibrant, fun and creative experience.

Sincerely,

The LEGO Universe Team

They didnt wanted the LEGO Universe to continue so they going to KILL it!

Wow. That game. It wasn't bad, just creativity in it wasn't exactly big. I was a beta tester and still have the game.  No membership though. I guess Lego universe didn't work out.

Should have went with blockland.

Aw, it wasn't a bad game, but I wouldn't pay a subscription for it.

Hmm, I would expect a game like that to have plenty of members though it went free to play.

Offtopic: I saw an advertisement on TV last night saying DC Universe online is free to play now. I thought it was slightly related

It wasnt a qoute

It wasnt a qoute

Why did you put the quote in code tags?
That doesn't wrap, it does major pagestretch.

Use quote tags

Why are you back?

You just came back and you already made 2 "gold topics".

No, I am not insinuating "gOLD" but in a sarcastic term of stupid.

Lego's plan for money backfired. Children aren't going to pay for a monthly service unless the game was free and the monthly service added in extra maps and other stuff like builder's club.
