2. I am sure that person is WAY better at clans than me anyway...

Epikgam3r all over again folks.
My advice to you, do not rage at people.
Disregard any comments that would make you rage.
Take the advice of forumers who have been on longer than you have when it concerns the layout.
Include more information on your clan, having JOIN and then a way to join is less than the bare minimum.
For example what does your clan do?
Optional: Put requirements and prerequisites that a person needs to meet in order to join
Add a members list
Optional: Make a logo
Improve the layout
Etc.
