Is this some sort of hobby you want to develop or..?

It just seems strange to want to have old coins.

Is it investment in coins that could later be worth a fortune?

They have silver in them
Silver is already worth money

my family has like 3 silver dollars in our change jar but i dont think they'd like me sending them to internet strangers

This is what I was thinking, I do the same thing in a smaller way.

Gold and silver prices are going through the roof now in this poor economy.

I betcha bisjac is going to sell them for more money than he buys them for.

Of course he is, otherwise he wouldn't be doing it. As he stated earlier, he's not a collector.

To you and anyone else asking why.

He's getting the coins for their metal content, they had silver in them, to sell them.
ende

Bisjac is scamming u all runn!1!!!!

Maybe not, but why does he want all these coins? He's hiding the truth! He's going to make a profit off all of you?

You're not looking for any old european coins, no?
I have a tonnnnnnnnnnnn of them.

Only my friend has coins from the 1600s and all that stuff and they're worth like 5G's at the moment.. :/

well i buy anything with silver in it. i just havnt followed foreign coins so i wouldnt know what they all have

i melt em. and take the silver.

granted if anyone sold me peace or morgan dollars i wouldnt destroy em, they got a lil more history.
but the dimes and quarters, take em appart

Silver is actually my favorite metal, and I have a massive collection of Silver Dollars and other coins. I would hate to part with them but this sounds interesting.

pre 1965 ones have silver content while newer ones dont.
i collect and save silver and gold anything

My parents have a collection of silver coins, a few of them technically mine. They went for about 30 a pop when my bro sold his. Obviously I can't sell them seeing as my mom was angry after my dad sold the others, but it's an interesting offer.

I have an 1888 morgan silver dollar, its in really rough shape though D:
