I understand now. How much cash exactly am I looking at tho?

Aphtonites was using the term correctly. He's saying you won't keep to your word.
uh no
a pyramid scheme is a specific type of scam, not just a way of saying someone's a liar

edit: lol oops late

well i cant pay +500% for them. thats just a waste lol yet im still trying to avoid buying them in bulk bags off the internet. junk bulk bags go at about $1000 standards. i dont want that.

im offering to pay 200% the coin's face value. if you guys had a small bulk of em though i would give an extra premium for being a coolbro and spending the time digging through that much change. (and i repay shipping costs)

I think it's sterling silver, I'm not entirely sure.

My grandma just gave me these three shiny spoons for my birthday and I looked at her like "the forget is this stuff?" until she told me they were silver.

it should say somewhere on them ".925" meaning sterling.
and silverware usually is brand name, should have stamps of the company and MIGHT indicate if its solid or plate

My mom has a big U.S silver teaspoon collection, a lot of them from 1950's or earlier, and a lot of them being hand-made :o

Just when I thought Bisjac couldn't be anymore mysterious, he starts an illegal money making scheme off of the forums.
All I have to say about that is..
Sweet.

doesnt seem mysterious to me

the facts are, dimes and quarters before 1965 are 90% silver. while anything afterward has none.
as themselves they are worthless. i guess if all the world's economies go under and we are literally back to trading silver and gold in a barter system (they would have value then) THEN these 2 coins can be used.

as of right now, they are worth the 10 and 25 cents they are stamped with.

i melt em down and have the silver properly made into stuffty shaped bullion, stuffty no name stamped, then properly assayed at a jewelery shop for a unit serial number.
then i put these little 2 ounce bars in a safe and there they sit for bisjac's long term savings.

yes you could keep the coins yourself. but you cant make use of the silver value in the dimes and quarters unless we hit a depression or something.

so to sum it up; yes i earn more off the coins then they appear, and you could as well. however you cant unless you follow all the steps.
so instead of buying bubble gum with them, ill give you twice the face value for more bubble gum.

twice the bubble gum.
I got exactly what I needed out of this.

I didn't bother reading the whole thread but silver coins are currently worth about 25x their value and did you really just offer only double their value? I actually sold about $1,000 worth a month ago to a retailer for 23x their value. Also there is probably a pawn shop or gold and silver shop near pretty much every single person on this forum and even as a kid they can go and get a bare minimum of x10 their value.

pawn shops will not pay spot price for 90% silver of a single unit.  yes it can be measured, but they will not do it to non-bullion. its legal tender currency.
