Author Topic: Holiday Xbox 360 Bundle (want help wanting)  (Read 1130 times)

okay, so there's this thing I really want

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Xbox360/Consoles/Bundles/250GBHolidayBundle-2011

bam
okay so here's the thing
I only have about $275
so close, but yet so far
there's always that tiny chance I might be able to get my mom to loan me some money, should I try that
or perhaps some of you guys could help me out by telling me if you know of any place where it's about $250 or so? or maybe if you think it might go on some serious sale for Black Friday?
preferably on a website without tax or shipping, though tax is a much more prominent issue, I can deal with $10 or so shipping fees
I already own Reach, so that would make for a nice Christmas gift for someone, and I want Fable III myself
thank you preemptively

Oh forget I got a new XBox like 2 weeks ago, I should have loving waited.

would a 4GB Xbox and a 250GB HDD be more expensive than this, or cheaper?

okay
http://www.amazon.com/250G-Hard-Disk-Drive-Microsoft/dp/B004GX4864/ref=pd_sim_vg_3
so, the cheapest one I can find is about $70 (the website selling the cheapest one has good ratings too)
so it totaled with the 4GB Xbox would be $270
which as it turns out, is right in my budget
should I do this instead, even though it doesn't come with the games?
I'd rather not, but my main want here is the hard drive size

It's 100 bucks for the 250gb HDD.
I meant one made for Xbox 360s

No, do NOT buy $70 HDD for Xbox from Amazon/Ebay
If they arent "official" Microsoft you will be banned if they find out...
I got mine for $90 because the box was damaged
buying a 250gb over a 4gb then a 250gb hard drive is better

well I doubt they will ban for it, but third party things just wont work with it now
that's straight up bullstuff

so there are other retailers selling it for $78
http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-250GB-HardDrive-Slim-Only/dp/B002I0JDC6/ref=pd_cp_pc_1
it's still Microsoft's product so it should work fine, it's just a different reseller

If you're desperate you could get a used xbox (old version) and a decent HD for ~$150

If you're desperate you could get a used xbox (old version)
I'm not that desperate

Fable III is boring as hell.

Fable III is boring as hell.
I could do without the games
it's just that the hard drive I want plus a decent not used Xbox would cost just as much as this

Get one without a HD, you shouldn't have enough games yet to flll it. Then, when you have the money buy a HD.

Oi. You gonna trickshot? Or are you one of those haters. Either way add me when you get one
RaGE Magic

Is there another with a smaller drive? after all 120 or 140gb or whatever is way more than you will need and is just wasted money.
