Is this for all electronic music in general? If so, why isn't Aphex Twin in the op? :(

prove me wrong on this, but I think most of us here are more towards the "dance" side of the spectrum than the ambient side.

also i made this MA Drum and Bass avatar

didn't turn out too great but if anyone wants it they can have it

Woo! Madeon made it on the number 1 track on BPM Radio :D

I really thought that Spectrum by Zedd would though

not really, no. it's for electronic dance music, and like Kingdaro said, Aphex Twin is more in the ambient electronic spectrum. although his music is pretty good.

Okay, so... who's ever heard of The Glitch Mob?

loving love TGM.

spectrum got as annoying as Dreamscape by 009 Sound System with all of the damn remixes.

nah I still love Spectrum. and the reason for all the remixes was because of the contest on Beatport.

also wish Hellberg a happy brufday ;3

I c raeyok did already lol

loving love TGM.

forget yea.

It feels like that their music is something that you would hear when your having a relaxing weed trip.

I always figured his ambient side was lesser known because of the music videos for Rubber Johnny and Come to Daddy. Huh.

His entire album Drukqs is kind of a mixture of melodic and dance tunes. Taking Control and afx237 v7 are far from ambient. Most of his music is actually more like that. I don't really know if you'd consider this 'dance' music, but I'd certainly dispute that it's more what you're leaning towards. Plus, even his wikipedia page categorizes him as "intelligent dance music" (whatever the forget that really means).

well, in that case, I would add him to the OP, but I still have 2 other artists to add (Krewella and Feed Me), and I think the character count of the OP is currently something like 16000 with each entry being around 2000 characters, so I won't have room to add him, unfortunately. :(

but by all means, feel free to post his music here.
