Why do people like Saints Row and not Serious Sam 3?

I don't really understand gamers today. Saint's Row 3 has to be about as stupid and silly as Duke Nukem Forever and Serious Sam 3 but Saints Row is getting positive feedback and Serious Sam 3 is already getting negative feedback.

All three games are silly and stupid but only Saints Row gets the maximum amount of praise. It's like everyone wants old first person shooters to die, am I right?

Yes I've watched the trailer. But no one has reviewed it. The only person I've heard talk about it is you. Where do get this idea that everyone hates it?
