Author Topic: Just bought a Guitar. Is Decided, I play House of the Rising Sun  (Read 1172 times)

I have a $25 acoustic and a $199 Strat. I love 'em both. I have the acoustic mounted on my wall, lookin kewl, and I play my electric in concert at a park down my street on most holidays. I just plug it into an extension cord and plug the extension cord into a very kind neighbor of mine's power outlet, with their permission. I had probably 35 people at the most, Thanksgiving day this year.
Sounds cool.

do you know anything about music?

though to be honest I don't know anything about guitars
I would be a lot better of help to you if you were like, learning to play a saxophone
particularly an alto sax

I've already played the Piano for about 4 years, and it really eases the pain of learning a new instrument.

Guitars and Pianos have similar chords in Jazz music.

I learned to play saxophone before piano, and I still don't really do it right, but yes, it really does make it easier
