Author Topic: That smiley, that damn, loving, smiley.  (Read 2677 times)

Back when people used MSN, there was a huge array of emotions to send to a friend, but many of you might know the abomination that is unleashed by sending ":D"

That face has stuck in my childhood memories ever since I first saw it.
There's no word to describe how horrifying it is, it might be a grin, but it's not a smile, the dead fish stare, the forced smile, it's unnatural, it's like the expression of a serial killer once he's successfully dumped a body into a river, or a child enthusiast finally making contact with his victim.

MSN has long been abandoned, it's coming for us.
Soon.

I hate any messenger that automatically changes text to emoticons without some kind of warning first.

I saw that ninja, they multiplied.

you know what smiley that is. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN

I was such a stereotypical girl on MSN, I had at least 300 custom emoticons, and I remember I was downloading and trading them with everyone.
I never replaced the smiley, but I never used it after I got a :3 smiley that looked like it was one of the default ones.
