Author Topic: Swimming (Or how I learned to stop my aquaphobia and start working out)  (Read 1596 times)

Used to do swimming and was pretty decent. Stopped for some reason but I could still easily swim to save my life.

I'm thinking of taking life guard lessons later on in high school.

Bump:

New stuff added to timeboard

I like to swim, but that's it.

I can't do the crawl

I'm pretty decent at breast stroke though.

I want to take up swimming as cardio (running can get rough on the knees sometimes and winters get cold and snowy) but the pool at school is always being used by the swim team even when it is designated free hours.

50 Breast:

1:11.46

I was like 11 or 12

also 200 Free Relay:

Total of 3:04.03 across 4 swimmers, including me
I was the guy who pulled ahead and won it for my team :D I was so proud of myself

hahaha

(i am)

How can people not know how to swim? What's it feel like to know that 3/4 of the earth's surface is somewhere where you will automatically die?
