Originally conceived for the 2008 TIGSource.com 'Bootleg Demake' competition, Gang Garrison 2 is a free multiplayer 'demake' of Valve's Team Fortress 2 started by mrfredman and MedO with many developers later adding new features. With all 9 classes, many different TF2-inspired environments, and fast-paced, team-based, multiplayer gameplay represented, GG2 is the premier TF2 tribute/parody/alternative.

Gang Garrison 2 is a multiplayer 2D 8-bit "demake" of Team Fortress 2, with a kind of large playerbase. At most times, expect around 5 servers up, with a peak of 12. Also, expect around 7-12 players on each server.

Also, because it's free and completely awesome, you have no excuses to not play it. PLAY IT NOW.

MODS

One of the things that makes this game really fun is the open-minded community creating fun and useful modifications for the game.

HOSTING

To host a Gang Garrison 2 server, it's actually not any harder than following the same process used to port-forward Blockland except using port 8190 instead of 28000.

Then it's as simple as starting the game, pressing "Host Server", changing around some settings and you're ready!

If anything is missing, feel free to tell me and I'll add it.

Yes, we did once have a thread on this whose layout did resemble this thread a bit, but that thread is now long gone.

I never understood why people bother putting 'Click the image for the website'. You could just as easily give them the link. >;c

but yeah cool game
it is nice :D

IMO the main thing this game has going for it is that it's based on tf2

also where is Quote

There's no secret class.

The image IS the link.

Dun-nunnnnnnn

Now you're saying something completely different. You asked why have the linked image first, as in "why make the image the link when you can take up more space with a link," and now you say "the words 'link right here' are unnecessary."

I used to play it, but I'm not sure if people play it less now that TF2 is free.

This is a completely, standalone game. You shouldn't play it with the reason "it's free and I didn't feel like paying for TF2".
