Author Topic: Boss Battles - Six years...  (Read 1987243 times)

I think that when time runs out, the boss should automatically win. Last time when I was the boss, and there was 1 normal left, he kept using the teleporters back and forth whenever I get close to him until time ran out and he won. I was absolutely pissed.

Or, to make it more fair, the boss will win if less than half the number of normals that spawned in the first place remain when time runs out.

I don't think it's to do with being a better boss. As soon as I aim at the normal or get close to him, he instantly goes through the teleporter, and it keeps happening until time runs out. And I can't just wait there and wait for him to come back out, because he can see me from the other teleporter.

I do dislike it when one player alone can win for his entire team by default. Half seems rather arbitrary. Maybe we need some overtime or sudden death thing.

Gravity rockets fall from the sky after 10 minutes of sudden death and no ones dies, or it could be after 5 minutes, I'm thinking all players HP go down to 1 or something.

Heavy damage could work, I suppose. Not sure how I'd implement it, but I also considered disabling all teleporters and jump pads.

Or how about you make it so only slow classes can use the teleports?

Mini-Bosses, except Juggernaut and Friendly Dragon won't really benefit from it though.

Moved teleporter 2 so it no longer overlooks the capture point. This should resolve a few strategical issues with capturing the point as the boss.

Make teleporters a buyable thing from the store and you can only use them for the round you buy them in?
