It has given points for months. Tell whoever has been spreading this misinformation to go forget themselves and/or test it properly. Had to prove this stuff to Creeper just last night. It gives points for healing damaged teammates.
Actually last night I took it upon myself to experiment this a few rounds.
From rapidly switching between damaged teammates, I also kept track of my score.
I did notice a sharp increase of at least 500 points while healing that entire round.
Why people can't get that amazes me.
