Author Topic: My friends are looking for a game. Help?  (Read 1157 times)

Okay, anyone remember Four Swords for the Gameboy?
Yeah, well, anything that graphically resembles that is good.
The requirements are:
Multiplayer
Customization (Some kind of it, like loot to change your looks whatever)
RPG elements, Stats, spells, loot whatever

Things we'd like:
Large worlds
Lots of quests
Lots of bosses
teamwork

Pretty much Four Swords with multiplayer would be great.
Any help is much appreciated.

uh
spiral knights
idk
Sounds perfect but they dislike it for some reason.

what
you want a game
that looks like four swords

multiplayer rpg elements
thats like
impossible

you would have to play four swords to get that experience!!

just play any mmo
you're not going to get one that looks like four swords though

try darkspore
pretty sure the coop is up to 4 players

Sounds perfect but they dislike it for some reason.
it IS!!
4 people
usually different colors
has a sword, or a bomb, or even a projectile weapon
contains little quests
small puzzles require some thought
action similar to the game

tell them to pick the calibur as a weapon, as when charged, it will produce a spin similar to link's charged up spin attack, and getting better swords, also like link, will produce a better spin
tell them to stick with the blast bomb too
also, there are these statue things that look like the statues in link, the ones that give you info
carry around a magic hood and level it up, it kinda resambles link's santa hat
use different armor to differentiate each other along with color choice
shields, stay with the defender if you want to feel authentic
...

punch your friends in the balls.

Terraria fits all of those catagories, but I'm sure you've already thought of that.

Dofus or Maplestory I suppose

They're not as close as Spiral Knights but I'd give 'em a try, I played them each for a long time

has no quests
Your quest is to surive, kill, build and explore.

The Darkspore beta was fun, I'd recommend that.
