I know, in a matter of time we'll all be used to this layout, but there was no point in changing it in the first place. What kind of website pisses off most of its users once every year?

And it won't be long until the new channel layout isn't optional anymore. I took a look at that thing and I absolutely hate it, and Youtube is going to make me use it in a month tops.

I won't. The subs box is exactly how I DON'T want it to be. It's basically twitter. If you have any substantial number of subscriptions, you have to check the homepage 30 times a day to make sure you don't miss a video. It will be even worse when you don't check it for a while, like when you're not home.
