Author Topic: Youtube, Quit Updating  (Read 3316 times)

I don't have the new Youtube. :o
I think I broke something.

The channels are awesome!

I absolutely loving love how each of the sections of the channel are split up into tabs, and how they assume that everyone browses YT with a phone! (because they totally do amirite)

What I love more is how I can view like 6 or 7 videos per page when before I could just scroll through and get whichever I wanted! That was such a pain. Thank you for fixing that, YouTube.

Because you'll notice a month from now everyone will like it and theyll be complaining about how Youtube is changing again
Describes general facebook user as well.

And now we're used to it and we don't want to switch.
No stuff. Same thing applies to Youtube's layout.

I forgot what the data is, but browsers get it when accessed which tell the browser you're using. Basically, YouTube could tailor itself to only do this crap on phone browsers.

YouTube really needs to add an option for people to be able to switch to the old or new layout.

That would be a godsend.

Someone send them an e-mail asking them to do this. NOW.

The look of the comments section is killing me
you using gyazo kills m what kills me is the playlist bar at the bottom which apparently cannot be turned off

why

i'm pretty sure if youtube detects you were using some kind of smartphone it automatically swaps you to the m.youtube.com url which is tailorered to phone layouts

Luddite button?
"Luddite: One who fears technology (or new technology, as they seem pleased with how things currently are...why can't everything just be the same?)"

I prefer the old layout.

I for one am glad for change.
Would you perfer youtube be optimized to run on Pentium 2s?
