Actually the degree of scary depends on how well you know your own exterior.

I don't really get many lucid dreams, but I pulled off a huge chain of them one morning. It started off as a false awakening that turned into a nightmare, which went into another false awakening, and all the other dreams branched off from that.

However, I often dream about the forums. Last night it was Vegetarian Zombie, Tingalz, Qwepir, and a few other forumers that I don't remember doing this big hide-and-seek game on a big space build, and after that we all watched a movie of some sort.

The way I always tell when I'm about to fall asleep is when I get this weird feeling as if my bed was floating and spinning around :o
But I'll try that.

I never have: in my dreams, mirrors don't exist, and clocks move at about 50 times as fast.

Just be prepared to see your physical image of the id in the mirror.

If you don't know the exact look of your face your mind can't project your face onto a mirror because you don't know how it looks.
At best it's mildly distorted.
At worst it's something like your biggest fert or w/e, I am usually careless in dreams though.

I just think in logic.
Fear is there to stop you from being killed (think tiger chasing you).
Seeing as how lucid dramings means knowing you are dreaming, there is no reason for me whatsoever to be scared because it's a dream and I cannot die from it.
