I try so hard every night. why the forget does lucid dreaming not come naturally?

It comes naturally to me. I just fall asleep and every 1-2 days I'll have a lucid dream.

Tried it last night. First time I was in a normal sleeping position, after about half an hour I felt some serious muscle spasms, but nothing dreamy about it. The next time I tried to lay on my back. After nearly half an hour I felt as if I was strapped to my bed and that it was sideways. I was curious as to if this were "sleep paralysis" so I moved my arm. Immediately the feeling passed and I've dismissed lucid dreaming as a myth.

Bravo you just deemed something entirely logical a myth after trying twice to get a lucid dream.
Two loving times.

I believe its true but Im almost certain you are all a bunch of liars

Dude, I've thought about this loads of times. The initial thought about this whole thing was to trance your body and keep your mind active, correct? Well if your body is in a trance, it would seem that you're not dreaming. You're still perfectly awake in a still body. Dreaming is access to a deeper part of your subconscious, which can't be achieved if not asleep, and from everything I've read it's absolutely crucial that you remain awake. I've tried it twice just as recommended and it didn't work.

Valid hypothesis and experiment failure usually leads to a debunk.

It's real, you need to try for atleast a year. I've been doing it for 1-2 years.

And when you know about lucid dreaming, It all starts so that on rare ocassions you just realize it's a dream.

Obvious professional.

Aware and awake are two different things. When you're lucid dreaming you don't remain awake you remain aware that you are dreaming. Also what your attempting to do is called a WILD or a wake induced lucid dream which is going directly from awake to a lucid dream. You are not supposed to be in trance when you attempt this either.  That is what people usually try and then get pissed off when it doesn't work. Let me repeat that you have attempted this only 2 times. Not everything can be done immediately and flawlessly.

Also I highly doubt your being scientific about this at all. Two attempts does not an accurate study make.

Just last night I had a dream that I was getting Brain Surgery but had minimal conciseness, it was hard to move, and I could speak softly. Then at some point I felt and heard a deep long cut and woke up.
I had a headache.

Weirdest dream Ive ever had. Don't think its "Lucid" though.

It's all in your head.

Does the WILD meathod work better if you're tired?
nvm

holy stuff, i just realized that i used to lucid dream all the time from ages 6 - 9
