Background: My math teacher is old, stubborn, and boring as hell.
So, I wasn't in math during school Tuesday because I was at the dentist. I thought that I could merely make up any work and go on as if I had been there on Tuesday. Well today, she gave us a "Warm-Up" on something we learned that day, and I couldn't figure it out, so I referenced my notes. By the time I had finished going over them the rest of the class had moved onto another packet extending on what we had learned that day. They were half way through, and I was totally lost, so I pulled out my notebook and started drawing in it. I did this because I didn't want to interrupt her along with the whole class and ask to see all the notes from the first two pages, which are pretty much essential for understanding everything else. So I was into my notebook like I said before and would ask for the notes afterwards. Not more than a minute later though, she walked over and took the notebook from me telling me that I should be doing the packet like everyone else. I tired to explain my case but she wanted to hear none of it. and I put the notebook on the empty desk behind me and at least tried to understand the packet, with no luck. Then Chandler, who sits behind and to the right of me, says he had wrote in the notebook. I had no way of knowing if he did or not because it was behind me, so I picked up the notebook and flipped through trying to see if he did or not. I must have had the book in my hands for less than thirty seconds, but my teacher then called me up and took the notebook from me, putting it in her desk and she told me to stay after class. So, I sat down, shoved everything off my desk into my backpack, and started lounging at my desk, in disbelief of everything that had happened within fifteen minutes. Chandler, (He is a friend of mine by the way) was in hysterics. I couldn't help but crack a small smile for a few moments, but went back down into anger at my teacher within seconds. After class I tried to explain to her what happened, so she pulled the notebook out of the desk momentarily ad said,"Are these math notes?" I replied "No", and she said,"Well, then you have no excuse." and put the notebook back into her desk. I walked out then.
/Rage.
I also just realized I still don't know how to do some of it.
