Author Topic: New-Era Sci-fi movies  (Read 1307 times)

So recently i've gotten an intrest into the newer era of sci fi movies, such as

Moon
Sunshine
Inception
A.I. Artificial intelligence
Star Trek (newest movie)
District 9

but i'm hoping to find more.
Does anyone know any good sci-fi movies in the last 10 years?

I, Robot
Stealth
Iron Man 1 and 2 (just in case you haven't seen them, because I assume you have)

...can't really think of any others at the moment.

Love all four of those movies.

Well, it's not sci-fi nor is it from the last 10 years (it's from 2000), but it's one of the best movies I've ever seen. Have you seen the Christopher Nolan film "Memento"?

vin diesel ftw

There's no such thing as a good movie that's been made in the past 10 years.

post above you, the movie is brilliant.

sure, the plot is predictable, but it's still amazing.

Holy stuff it's the guy who played Justin Hammer in Iron Man 2, lol. That looks like an awesome movie.

Also, just a little word of advice with Memento, the plot line can be incredibly difficult to follow, so I'd suggest watching it twice if you don't completely get it the first time around.

jerked a tear at one point, it's seriously well directed and made, i suggest renting it ASAP.

Will do.

OH, I just thought of another one. "The Core" is another great one. It doesn't have a very good rating but that didn't dissuade me from seeing it, I thought it was awesome.

Did anyone else notice that Avatar was just a futuristic rip-off of Dances With Wolves?
"The Core" is another great one.
Are you kidding me!? That was just some dumb, predictable action/adventure movie.
