right. good, forgot to go get some pokemans.
You're trolling, right? You have to be. Nobody I have ever met goes around without a full team at all times unless they're trying to inflict a challenge on themselves.

I have no trouble with only a Bulbasaur and a Pikachu in Leafgreen version.
Speaking of that, I should get back to it some time.

Thanks for the input guys you're very helpful
Any team can take down Red if you love them well enough

i think with a team like that the only thing that matters in terms of fighting red is the level i guess

My team is full, I just needed a certain Pokemon to help fight Whitney, that's why I said to go catch some.

Either way, I've got 7 badges now. forgetin' love my Magneton.

Teach Rock Smash to one of your Pokémon if you didn't already. It would really help in fighting Whitney.

I got past Whitney and yes I have a Pokémon that knows Rock Smash.

Up next is a Ghost type gym. Make sure you have Pokémon that aren't limited to Normal/Fighting Type moves.

Past him, I just finished Bryce's battle.

That was fast... I literally cannot believe you would defeat it so quickly.

I got Pokémon Mystery Dungeon - Gates of Infinity the other day.

It's really really good.

I played the Demo before after downloading it off of the Nintendo e-Shop.
Sort of made a brash decision in choosing my Pokemon and partner.
I went for a Tepig as myself, and Axew as my partner (creatively nicknamed Axeey).

I think I'd have preferred if I had to fill in a questionnaire to choose my Pokemon type, like in previous games (since I never would have chosen Totodile, but I found him perfect after getting it in Explorers of Time).

Anyway, I decided to just go ahead with what I had done so far in the Demo once I got the full game.
I'm loving it at the moment.
Just got to a tricky bit in the main storyline. (trying not to give spoilers here, so also don't give spoilers back)
I'm at the team battle against Toxicroak and co. at the Great Glacier.
I don't have enough items to carry on though it seems. No Reviver Seeds or anything, and annoyingly the enemy have a Party Perk, in that only 1 enemy is affected by status effects. So, using an Orb to make all of them confused or asleep or whatnot won't work.

So, I've put it on hold and gone back to Companion Mode, to try and maybe improve Paradise some more, and earn some more Reviver Seeds and Experience for the storyline team.

On a side-note, why did I not know that Nintendo Stars (from registering Nintendo products) have an expirery date?
We never put on a lot of points that we had slowly accumulated over the years.
But we did have nearly 4000 points on our balance to begin with.

I get home with Mystery Dungeon, try to put the points on (and fish out a bunch of unused codes from previous games), only to find out that they periodically wipe your Nintendo Points (or stars, or whatever they call them).

So, now I don't have enough Stars to purchase anything I might have wanted to.
And I know for a fact that I won't get enough Nintendo Games in time before their next wipe.
It's ridiculous. Maybe some people can do so, but Nintendo games are often too expensive for my family to get lots of them in a short amount of time.
(When you need 2000 minimum to purchase stuff, and games will give roughly 200-250 points, that's just about 10 games in a year needed. And when they cost £35 - £40, that's roughly £400 a year spent on Nintendo Games)

It's incredibly unfair and gimmicky on Nintendo's part.

gotta start getting prepared for the E4

...
