Skrelp is the only one I think looks a bit weird.

But I think Clauncher and Talonflame look awesome.

Shishiko is a bit generic looking, but cute.
And actually, I quite like the Vivillon line.

The Starters and Mascots are also quite nice.
I really look forward to seeing how they evolve, and what role the legendaries play in the storyline and their backstories.

Talonflame is going straight to OU or even Uber, I can feel it.

Oh wait, maybe not, it DOES have a x4 weakness to rock and stealth rock. But if it weren't for that it'd be ballin. Super fast fire types used to be so awesome.

Talonflame is a bit generic if you ask me, even for Pokémon standards.

Ugh, more dragon types please.

Sylveon is a loving fairy type...?! Hey at least we have a new type though c:

I don't know if I would have named it "fairy" type, but I don't really mind.
I'm bearing in mind that I'm older than when I first played Pokemon, and it is aimed at young children too, so "fairy" is an ideal name for the type.
It might seem like it's not a very mature name, but the game isn't especially mature to begin with.

And, the name very easily describes a large number of Pokemon already introduced, who have sadly been stuck with the "normal" type, despite really being something more than that.

And who doesn't want to learn new move-types and have new interesting battles that you've never had before?
There's sure to be some great moves that will change the tides in all sorts of battles.
I'm quite curious to know if Fairy will be predominantly offensive, or defensive.

I get the feeling that a lot of fairy pokemon will be great partners to have in double/triple battles.

I wonder if Flash and Metronome will become Fairy type.

Pokemon moves don't change types, unless i'm somehow wrong.

Bite was normal type in Red, Blue, and Yellow.

Fairy types X2 VS Dragon.
I don't see how this makes sense.

Any way I can live with out bringing my ice cubes.

Dude, didn't you hear?
Fairies are TOUGH.

So not only is Flabébé my least favorite design of the generation so far, but its English name contains accented characters that are not easily accessible on a standard NA keyboard

They might as well have just called it Flabebe, because that sure as hell is what I and many other people are going to be typing

Hence the slowpoke.

The logic that ive seen is that in Fairy Tales, the hero slays the Dragon
