Author Topic: Pokémon VG Megathread  (Read 878542 times)

I've added the Safaris that I know for sure to the OP, if you know what's in yours please let us know (or ask someone to find out for you) and post your trainer name as well

So I just bred a full box of Helioptiles, what should I do with them? I considered Wonder Trading them, but the chances of getting a good trade is astronomically low.

Do it anyway

There's still a chance of getting something nice and you'll get loads of Pokemiles

my trainer name is Alex

I thought the 3DS name would show up in game but I was incorrect

also woooo time to wonder trade 4 boxes of phanpy and half a box of charmeleon because they're all male goddamnit

reg did you ever add me
ive been looking at my friend list and it depresses me when i see names that i would've assumed to have added me already, especially because animal crossing was 5 months ago  ;-;

Trainer & mii name is Andrew, idk what's in my safari

If you're still taking down BW2 codes, mine is 0992 4218 3448

Totally didn't realize the Safari shows 3DS names and not trainer names until now, forget

What I'm going to do is have the Mii name in quotes and the trainer name next to it, so let me know what those are

Thought I did, maybe I didn't

I guess I forgot, and I keep skipping over you when I add people because I thought I already had you added, rectified that

out of 2 full boxes of phanpy .. so far the only useful things I've got are a japanese fennekin, a growlithe, and a snorunt..

My Trainer name is Yellow has been since gen 1

I just realized every time pancham comes out to battle or faints I subconsciously say "pancham" in the same tone as his cry lol

can someone tell me how to aegislash? my aegislash sucks, it does almost no damage at level 70ish. it gets one shot by a lot of things. I use sacred sword > kings shield > repeat ..

If you used Shadow Claw, you'd get STAB

The Power Plant music is amazing omg

DA DA DA DA DAA DA DAH DAH DAH DUN DAH DUN
deedle deedle dee de dee dee de dee dee deedle deedle dee de dee dee de dee de
NAH NAH NAAAAH NA NAAAH

it's a pretty catchy song but i was hoping that there'd be more of a variety of music for team flare

the internet told me that claw was garbage compared to sneak

Shadow claw has 30 more power than sneak, and it has a higher chance of critical. I don't see how that's garbage to an increased priority move. Plus it's the move powerful physical Ghost move (excluding Shadow Force because only Giratina can learn that).

There are many ways to run Aegislash, but this is what I'm going for

Aegislash @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 Def
Brave Nature
- Shadow Sneak
- Sacred Sword
- King's Shield
- Swords Dance

Do not get hit while in Blade Form at all costs, setup if possible, and you can play dangerously and attempt to let Weakness Policy completely replace Swords Dance and free up a spot for an additional attack move like Iron Head

Having a priority move with a Pokemon that is meant to be as slow as possible is very good, if your initial attack doesn't take out the enemy you can Shadow Sneak the rest of their HP instead of otherwise predictably King's Shielding, a major part of Aegislash is acting unpredictably
