Eventually in the Battle Chateau you will be able to fight gym leaders, and you can send out writs of challenge as well to raise their level, think of it as a daily training area.

I realized that Pangoro makes for a better hm slave than fighting pokemon (seriously who thought it was a good idea to mix fighting type with dark)
I felt kinda bad about it since we've been through so much but oh well...

I get so pissed off when I'm trying to catch a pokemon and they kill themselves with takedown, double edge, ect.

Fighting/Dark is a great offensive combo. Its STAB is unresisted by everything that isn't Heracross or a fairy. How is it bad?

Offensively? Sure it's good.
Defensively it just has too many weaknesses.

...It has 3 weaknesses. Fighting, flying and a double weakness to fairy, I'm not seeing the big deal.
