Not even, there are few moves that can really be passed down like that.

For example, I'd have loved a Shell Smash Blastoise, it's literally set up to work, it's got a shell and can breed with Omanyte, however it still doesn't pass because god knows what.

Simply put, there are not many moves Pokemon can learn through breeding. Usually at most like 10ish and most are bad.

what I do want is to have golurk have shadow sneak

seems counter intuitive since golurk is mainly paired with iron fist
its more of a fister than a sneaker

That would be hilarious, it has great attack and alright bulk as well as immunity to 3 different types so you would just have to wait for something to come out like a fighting type, and it'd lose and be unable to switch, it'd be an excellent revenge killer.

That's why you don't send it out against a water type? You send it out against something that can't win. Ex: Blaziken, (some)Lucario, practically any electric type, flying types even, pretty much anything that doesn't have an advantage.

Again, you send it out against stuff it has the advantage on, I even gave examples. You wont want to send it out against a Magmortar for example because they usually have coverage moves, you send it out against Physical attackers or something that lacks the coverage to really hit Golurk hard in this instance.

Anyways, I'm going to stop here I hate having debates over hypothetical questions lol.
