So I just spent some time leveling up Seadra so it could learn Dragon Dance for Egg Move passing purposes while waiting for someone to trade me a Corphish on the GTS, checked the status and some guy from Japan sent me a newly hatched Jolly female in a Dive Ball with Dragon Dance, Aqua Jet, Knock Off, Adaptability, and 3 perfect IVs

It's stuff like this that gives me faith in the Pokemon community

wow thats a good trade, i recently put a baby mudkip on the gts for a galvantula and i got a friend safari one with two perfect ivs.

Can anyone explain why ghost type is weak against itself

bug is strong against dark because a lot of bugs actually survive in the dark
Flying is strong against fighting because flyig can evade fighting attacks
Grass is strong against water because it survives off water.

i would assume psychic can detect poison
Bug is strong against psychic because based on logic, humans hate bugs
Fighting is strong against dark type due to light always beating dark
And steel isnt always evil.

Poison is kinda tricky to use right if you're forgeted up and confused. Basically the same with fighting.
Psychic pokemon tend to take on humanoid forms most of the time. The psychic weaknesses are based on things humans are afraid of.

Steel is strong against fairy because imagine a bisharp letting a moonblast just slide off of it while it chops some fluffy bastards to pieces.

Fighting is seen as completely fair moves, while most dark moves involve some kind of trick. Playing fair naturally beats being a dirty punk I bet.

Isn't the reason fairy types are weak to steel due to the Fae folk being weak to cold iron in fairy tales?

psychics cause a reaction to the poisen types glands/antibodies which hurt them more.
Bugs emit usually harmless enyzmes when fighting, but the like with poison, psychics trigger a reaction.
dark type are supposed to resemble emos, and bullies usually pick on them
