I seem to be getting really loving unlucky on the battle spot, 2 consecutive horndrills, moves that hit 2-5 times always hitting 5 times and critting, my own super effective STAB moves moves missing...

depends on what pokemon you like

I like Y because Heracross is loving OP in-game, but if you like some other pokemon from X, get it. And, yes, you can purchase it on the 3DS store.

Your decision depends entirely on which version-exclusives you like, and even then the ones not catchable in one version can easily be traded for, so it mostly comes down to which box legendary and Mega Stones you want since those are fairly hard to trade for

X and Y are available for digital download on the 3DS eShop

i have an 32 GB sd card my mom bought me for my tablet, but my tablet doesn't recognize it (waste of monee)

anyways, can i use it for my 3DS, but will it erase the games i currently have on here?

EDIT: dammit, my sd card for my tablet is a mini one, and i don't think it's compatible for my 3DS. it came with an adapter but i threw that away ;-;, and the current sd card i have now is 2 GB and pokemon y takes up 1.7 GB, so i don't really have any luck right now, sigh.

Yeah. You really can't go wrong with game cards. Even just having one sit in the system protects the slot from dust.
