When it comes to luck I'd have a better chance getting into space so... If instead I wanted to trade for Shiny pokemon instead what kind of pokemon would I want to trade?

Most people want "OU: The Team," so if you can manage to breed any of those Pokémon with perfect IVs, that'd be your best bet.
I was able to trade up to a shiny Ponyta for a friend with a perfect Vulpix, so yeah.

fun fact: metagross family has the same catch rate as most legendary pokemon, including, but not limited to: mewtwo, ho-oh, rayquaza, and arceus.

It's catch rate is a pitiful 0.4%. Try using Dusk Balls and catching at night, use a high level pokemon with false swipe to take it to exactly one hp and then paralyze it. That will maximize your chances to catch it.

Can you not be an starfish please? Not everyone (including myself) is as EPIC and AMAZING at pokemon as you are. Maybe it is you who should see yourself out.

I know that, but I don't carry moves with the chance that'll happen, I just assume my opponents aren't complete trolls.

select the video you want to upload

it will ask you if you want to upload and that the video will be available for 24 hours after its posted

it will upload the video and give you a code in this format: XXXX-WWWW-WWW5-XXXX

that code is manually imputed by others to view your video
