I don't know what a nuzlocke is; I was just doing some leveling up for him while he was away.

The Nuzlocke Challenge is a set of rules for a more difficult playthrough experience, there are many variants and the rules are completely up to the player but the basic ones are generally

1. If a Pokemon faints, they are dead and can no longer be used
2. You can only catch the first Pokemon you see when you enter a new area, nothing else

making an electric monotype team is 2hard

Damn, sounds hardcore. I should try that some time.

Randomizer Nuzlocke is more fun.

some "pokemon pro" friend of a friend had only two pokeman in his party.

is there some (dis)advantage to having a smaller party?

The advantage is that you level up faster because you have less party members to train.

Nicknaming all of the Pokemon you catch is another rule that most people do

It gets you more attached to them so you really won't want to lose any

I remember the last time I played, got attached to Kangeskahn, named him Kangaroo and he was wrecking stuff and was my go to Pokemon until it got 1 shotted by a crit :(

people don't do that anyway?

I don't really do that. I have the legit ability to decide what I want to get attached to.

However, I will say that on some pokemen, I like to botch their names into a silly pun.

Like I have an Eminemboar.

Apparently, I've been naming every Pokemon I use for at least the last 10 years

it's good creepypasta material

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, announced for 3DS to be released November 2014

Ruby was my first Pokemon game, I am actually quite excited to get the remake considering SoulSilver and HeartGold were pretty good remakes.

Aha! Yes, that is fantastic!

I'm so excited for it!
