I prefer wonder trading them and then releasing whatever I get (provided it's something I don't want or need.)

still takes an incredibly long time though

for a little while i was breeding shinx and i had like 7 boxes full of them. i used my free pokemon bank trial to just dump them in there

it can range from another magikarp to well
