Despite having played Red/Blue/Yellow a hundred times already I caved and got Blue version for VC, it was the first Pokemon game I owned and is tied for the first game I ever owned period but I don't know where my actual cart is

Apparently Nintendo changed a single thing in the releases (aside from the ability to use local wireless to trade and battle): Jynx's sprite in Yellow is purple now instead of black

Everyone and their mother already emulates Pokemon games, I don't see why they'd need to do that

I would rather not try to go through a minefield to get to a pokemon game, and instead just buy it and download it.

you've got a huge case of internet paranoia
like if you just use common sense and a decent malware blocker/scanner then you should be ok
also 'malware, trojans, and worms' is redundant

I've found fake things while searching for blender knife models. I'm still paranoid.
