No, you're all right, but I doubt in all seriousness that the House would even attempt this.

I mean the backlash they've probably been getting at this point.

technically the supreme court decides whether or not this law is put into effect.

What?

The Supreme Court decides if laws against citizens are deemed constitutional or not.

The only way the courts would even be brought into this is if we, as citizens, pressed charges.

The Citizens of the United States V. US.

all or at least some majority of us would have to be against this bill

The Supreme Court can declare any law unconstitutional no trails needed, just deliberation.

Well. This bill would be impossible to pass in Canada because:
Quote from: Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms
7. Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice.

Which you can greatly say we would be.

How many US citizens would actually be in support of losing their bill of rights?

This is what happens when you give freedom to people and they take it for granted.

Westboro Baptist Church? lol

So hows the weather in Canada this time of year?

Well. This bill would be impossible to pass in Canada because:

>low violence L4D2
>> comparing something completely irrelevant and being fixed to a bill that allows the military to do what they want on american soil
Australia is not a global leader.  That's why you have stuff politics that decide everyone who has access to the internet in Australia is a child enthusiast and super-screens it, and your economy is invisible because it's not even on the same level as larger economies.
We are a global leader, next to others. We may not be as high up in the food chain as The All Mighty and Free States of America, but we are fairly close. Our economy is not invisible. There were issues with the global crCIA earlier this year. But our government pulled through and kept everything under control, because for the past few years we've had treasurers that aren't richardheads. I don't want to use this, but god damnit I will if you're going to be ignorant. Our government is not the best, as everyone knows, all governments are usually run by dumbasses. But the Australian senate would never pass anything like this. Maybe its because of the USA's view on war. Internet censorship has come up in the Australian parliament before, but that's a global issue that I'm sure every country's government has thought about. I'm not even sure what you're trying to say there anyway, our government is more into the idea of censoring the Internet? Look at your own country buddy, we're not the one with a multi-million dollar push for Internet censorship.

I'm not saying that the Australian government is better than America's at all, or start anything here. I'm just defending the fact that they would never pass anything like this.

I'd gladly have my rights taken away from the government if they were communist. I have absolutely nothing to hide.
