Fun Fact: this usually happens without santa-hat/college dropout to quicken the process, unlike video.

Fun fact: Otis says that this means that cats should be killed mercilessly. Cat Hunger Games.

And how is that related? Don't pull stuff out of your ass.

Because the "cats are pets" argument is relative and based upon opinions, not fact.

It is quick and painless. That cat died pretty fast and the only thing I heard from the cat was "hissing" sounds but no sounds of pain.
Holy cow, it wasnt "quick and painless"
The cat was being crushed, you could see it struggling to get free from the death grip.
You could hear it crying.

How does a santa hat increase the suffering of the animal being eaten? Cats have no concept of holidays.

I'd take the snake, pirhanas rip, not chew.
Rip, chew... Either way, a fish is trying to kill you.

How does a santa hat increase the suffering of the animal being eaten? Cats have no concept of holidays.

Santa hat was either a red herring or a moot point. *rerails thread*

You could argue the same thing with anything. Nothing serves a purpose if you decide to look at it from that perspective. Honestly, you can categorize everything in the universe as either "edible" or "non-edible" and be done with it.
Except that the owner of the kitten had the kitten for the sole purpose of feeding it to his python. It served it's purpose. If he took someone else's kitten it might be different.

There's not much use for an alive kitten. What purpose do they really serve?
 Companionship

And, it grows into a cat that eats the mice in you basement

And then the python eats the cat.

Circle of life.

Except that the owner of the kitten had the kitten fore the sole purpose of feeding it to his python, it served it's purpose. If he took someone else's kitten it might be different.

This.

Also cats are a species of animal, not a domesticated thing. If cats were truly only pets, explain that to any major city and its alley cat problem. Also, bobcats and lynxes.

Circle of life.

AND IT RULES US AHHH-ALLLLL  :nes: :nes:

 Companionship
The cat did not have that function for the owner.

Going by this definition no animal is domesticated and controllable by humans.

you're missing the point, bucko. he bought a loving kitten, dressed it up and fed it to some snake when a dozen mice would've been cheaper and more effective, to put it in robot terms.

in caring people terms, this video is forgeted up as is the lot of you. dear lord

Better word phrase: only used as a pet.
