I remember a few years ago my class went to the local aquarium-terrarium to see animal feeding. Before we started, we sat down in this big room around a round table. The director put a hungry rat snake and a little mouse on the table. We got to watch the whole thing, it was rather instructive albeit could have been a little shocking for a bunch of 11-12 years old kids, but it was like watching and experiencing stuff we saw in documentaries.
And the difference between this video and my experience is the presentation. A good brown townogy would be presenting abortion. On one hand, the whole process could be presented as a documentary, handling the topic with respect and maturity, or one could turn it into one of those weird Japanese game shows which would probably add unneeded pain and suffering for the mother.
