Whats so different about being fed to a snake? It wasnt murder.

I have no problem with snakes eating living things and if I watched a video with some snake in the wild and some cat walked by and the snake ate him, yea I would be sad for a little bit but it is natural.
But to dress up as santa, play the little drummer boy in the backround and purposely get the snake to attack the cat just to see it die for entertainment

How about the people who beat animals sensless? Or starve them. Or use them as test subjects.

True, my cat had been a stray that a rescue center found. For the first few years we had him, he never meowed at all. My mom said it was because his mom had probably taught him to be quiet so that he wouldn't get killed or something.

It's a domestic cat.

They'll still have survival instincts.

Of course he's going to be "crying over a kitten who got eaten by a snake" because that's the subject of the damn thread. Nobody was talking about live experimentation, torture, etc because that wasn't relevant. Some of the "horrible things" you listed could even be considered even less of a problem than this, since animal testing is at least going towards a long-term goal. If the guy who made this hadn't made it look like such a big event then I wouldn't have seen the problem, but this was not just "feeding the snake".
