He doesn't care about other religions being allowed to pray.
Well that's Rick Perry for you.

kids CAN pray in school, its just not going to be school led.
I got sent to the dean's office last year for bringing my bible to school

thats not the same thing. its not, and shouldnt be allowed.

Why not?

Yes it should, there is absolutely no reason why people should be kicked out of school for expressing their religous faith. I see nothing wrong with muslims praying for other people in a classroom, and likewise I also see nothing wrong with christian children praying in school.

There is no such law that would prevent a student from bringing or carrying a bible in school.

No, there isn't. But:

On a related note: I hate public schools.

That's not exactly a good reason to hate Public schools.

That's not the only reason.

If I am suspended from school for being religious, it sure as hell is.

You were sent to the deans office, you never said you were suspended. You also do a terrible job at your religion if you hate for those reasons.

This is why I'm not religious :P

You're not religious because of religious discrimination?

see you are warped into believing that muslims prayer is an attempt to convert you. and its not. that is conservative fear mongering from your parents that is teaching you this.
you as well, should not be allowed to express your faith to others in a state run facility.

you do not need a bible to pray. nor do you need to get down on your knee and talk out loud to pray. your faith is not relying on silly traditions like that that are meant to support converting people.
keep your stuff to yourself. you CAN pray in school, just keep it to yourself.

muslims have to leave to a separate room away from others when they do it every day.

see rick perry knows the average american christian dosnt understand this. thats why he can say absurd things like this and you all suck his richard for it.

you know he mentions this to compare it to gays in the military.
you realize this is a ploy for him to bash gays in the military and gain support from conservative chirstians right?
its easier to say it like this then to outright making anti gays in military a point on his campaign.

lol you fell for it. you should be ashamed by how easily a politician can buy you.

add

rick perry ONLY needs to win iowa right now. that are majority fundamentalist chirstian.
hes attacking obama in his add, trying to make the silly iowan faithers think there is a war on religion so they poll rick higher then obama.
this is only in play while the iowa caucus is up. afterward he will likely support gays in military and the rights of state run schools to another state.

if you kids dont understand this simple politics play, then you shouldnt be getting excited about it. what a dangerous voter you will become.
