How do you install mods in Minecraft Multiplayer?

I got a question here too.
How to delete meta inf.

I opened up the application you download from the website, and it turns out that you can't alter anything in there.
Not to mention I need to fix my java base, I can do that later on my own.

go to your .minecraft folder, then bin, and open your minecraft.jar in winrar and delete meta inf

Don't use ModloaderMP, use Bukkit. However, SP-mods can't be used "just like that" in MP, but the new direction of Spout/SpoutCraft is supposed to help with that issue (Spout is MP-server, SpoutCraft is Modloader replacement, also note that the new Spout isn't released yet).
