Author Topic: Can I run Oblivion?  (Read 2048 times)

I checked that Can You Run It thing and I know I can't run skyrim. But now Can You Run It is being a slow little bitch that won't work, so would I be able to run Oblivion? My graphics card is a Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family. I don't think you need any other information. Somehow I get the feeling I can't run it.

what kind of games can you run?
I know nothing of intel graphics but I vould do some comparisons based on the games you can play.

I'd say Oblivion is easier to run than Skyrim. I tried Skyrim, even with my great computer I lag and I never had any lag on Oblivion, so I'd say it can run.

Should run fine.

If you stutter, lower it down to meduim settings.

We need to know your cpu and ram.

You could run it low-med.

Uhh...
All of the Total War games (but Shogun, I don't have it), IL-2 1946, Silent Hunter 4, TF2, Portal 2 annnnnd Mount&Blade Warband.

Get FRAPS, if you can play the game but it's under your monitor refresh rate, which is probably 60 it's technically lag. If you can play above 32 FPS, then you can run it.

No. You see, I do not own Oblivion. I want to know if I should get it.

Do that with Portal 2.
But I don't want to download FRAPS...
Portal 2 isn't very laggy but I don't know the exact framerate.

Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU
and 4 gigabytes of RAM.

I would have to say no. That was exactly what my old desktop had and it barely got 10fps on the lowest of the low settings
