Author Topic: did everybody forget about Witcher 2?  (Read 1020 times)

After the release of The Witcher 2, there was a lot of buzz about it for a few months, then I didn't hear anything else about it.
Who still plays Witcher 2, and who thinks this is a game you really have to play to understand?

People only played witcher 2 for the TF2 items

In all seriousness it probably wasn't a really good game and iit just died.

Looks like another Mortal Combat game lol

it actually is a good game

but doesnt have a lot of replay value

Looks like another Mortal Kombat game lol
Nope. You can't use logic when writing Mortal Kombat.

Oh that's right, this game came free when you purchased the TF2 items

I just bought the game a few days ago actually and have been enjoying it greatly.
It's a huge improvement over the first one.

I think the game would have a lot of replay value actually, I look forward to choosing different sides and stuff.

the thing is it's not a game you talk about. there was a lot of buzz because the game is good, people don't talk about it because you finish it and boom, you're done. it's not like elder scrolls or minecraft where there's tons of stuff to do.

people talk about Oblivion even when they've done everything to do because it's a hilarious game to glitch out.

I would imagine the real reason nobody talks about it is that there's about three hours at the very beginning which moves very slowly, and it makes a lot of new players quit before the game hits it's stride, so there are very few new fans of the series.

Oh my god you couldn't be more wrong.

The game has some great stuff worth discussing.
Such as the funny LOTR reference near the beginning of act 2.

Nope.

I play games for TF2 items oftentimes

I just gave up trying to get the Spiral Knights TF2 hat :/
