Great informative thread.

Honestly, you couldn't just edit that text a bit to make it less of a bitch to read?

They're technically both chemicals
Yeah and one is illegal because it forgets up your body and the other helps wake you up when you're tired.

Coca-Cola used to have Cocaine in it but that was removed over a century ago, yet the caffiene was kept. How do you explain that?

There is a big difference between Caffiene and PCP, and to compare the two and say they are very much alike is loving stupid.

What. I'm just saying they're both chemicals.
I hate drugs, if you have to resort to chemicals and stuff for pleasure then you are very sad.
Because this was a stuffty description of drugs.

Get banned and die. :D

How about you post in the rec drug thread?

Also hahah pcp I saw a picture of a guy who carved his face off with a piece of broken glass from his mirror and fed the strips to his dog apparently.

Because this was a stuffty description of drugs.
You know what I mean, don't try to be a smartass. I'm talking about recreational drugs, and if you can't even figure that out from the context clues in this topic then you are likewise, very sad.

I can just imagine your conversations at school:
Kid: "Yeah I got a B on my test the other day"
You: "HOLY stuff A BEE WAS ON YOUR TEST?!"

I can't stop laughing. I AM A SICK forget.

The Particle Projector Cannon (or PPC) is a unique energy weapon. PPCs fire a concentrated stream of protons or ions at a target, causing damage through both thermal and kinetic energy. As such, despite being an energy weapon, it produces recoil. The lethality of the weapon rivals that of a higher-caliber autocannon; just three shots from a PPC will vaporize two tons of standard military-grade armor. Targets hit by multiple, simultaneous PPCs can also suffer electrical side-effects, such as overloaded computer systems or targeting sensors. The ion beam also extends to much farther ranges than autocannon fire, though PPCs generate large amounts of waste heat.
PPCs are equipped with a Field Inhibitor to prevent feedback which could damage the firing unit's electronic systems. This inhibitor degrades the performance of the weapon at close ranges of less than 90 meters. Particularly daring warriors have been known to disengage the inhibitor and risk damage to their own machine when a target is at close range.

Settle the forget down man.

Cleveland Public Power (also known as CPP) is a publicly owned electricity generation and distribution company in Ohio. It was founded in 1907 by Tom L. Johnson, then Mayor of Cleveland, Ohio. Before 1983 it was known as Municipal Light (or "Muny Light" for short). CPP does not have sufficient capacity to compete across the entire Greater Cleveland area. Rather, it is intended to create additional capacity and to create a benchmark price in order to prevent price gouging by local private utilities.
In December 1978, Mayor Dennis Kucinich refused to sell the company when a number of banks, which were heavily invested in Muny Light's privately owned competitor, the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company (better known as CEI or The Illuminating Company) refused to roll over the city's debt, as had previously been customary. This was seen as a bad move at the time - unable to pay its debts, the city became the first since the Great Depression to enter default - but Kucinich's decision was later vindicated by both city officials and the U.S. Senate, which found that CEI and the banks had acted improperly.
In December 2006, a new commissioner for CPP, Ivan Henderson took over the reins from the incumbent James Majer. Under the new commissioner's guidance CPP is poised to take over the streetlight maintenance from CEI.

Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics (Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys. or PCCP) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal publishing original (primary) research and review articles on any aspect of physical chemistry, chemical physics, and biophysical chemistry. It is published weekly by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) on behalf of sixteen participating societies.[1]
Philip Earis is the editor of PCCP and the present chairman of the Editorial Board is Pekka Pyykkö, Professor of Chemistry at University of Helsinki. The Editorial Board comprises leading international scientists who meet regularly to discuss all scientific matters concerned with the Journal; in particular the standards necessary for the acceptance of papers for publication, the standards of refereeing, and ways and means of acquiring suitable papers for publication.
PCCP replaced Faraday Transactions in 1999; it continues a close association with the Faraday Division of the RSC and the unique Faraday Discussions meetings and publications.
Biophysical chemistry is a rapidly expanding area of physical chemistry, and biophysical papers are an important part of PCCP. PCCP has been selected by the US National Library of Medicine for inclusion in MEDLINE, thereby increasing its visibility to the biophysical and biological communities. Significant and newsworthy articles appearing in PCCP are also featured in the RSC supplements Highlights in Chemical Science, Highlights in Chemical Technology and Highlights in Chemical Biology. PCCP hosts the RSC publication, Highlights in Chemical Science.
