I'm waiting to see if anything else occurs in the poll.

At this time though, people lived no more than 50 years.  I don't want to explain a King's accomplishments in one post, and the next day, post the next king's and so on.

Wars would be started and ended in one post.

Let's just jump to 370 AD and plunge into Feudalism and midieval times within the range of 3-5 pages from now.

o thats an idea: advancement by page number

year= page number*10

I agree with that, but after page 50, year= page number x 20, after page 60, page number x 30.  We'll figure out a new scale once we hit Rennaissance.  Without the scale increase, we would hit the Rennaissance at about page 130.  Anyway, I like that idea.

Avalonian workers head home from Eranium. Trade of iron for lumber at given rate with Eranium accepted.

I'm unconcerned witht he timescale. Unless we have some ridiculously fast timescale where wars would be fought in minutes, I'm ok with just about anything.

I like Nexus's idea, however. That sounds pretty worthwile.

If we never advanced other than to the age of feudalism and such, that'd be fine with me.

What? No it should scale down if anything.  I think the same post rate will continue but the eras will not last as long.  The industrial era lasted like 100 years at best, we don't want to blast through that in two or three pages.  It should scale down to like each page is four years by then so it lasts a respectable 20 pages or so.  Modern age should hit each page = 2 years.

I can write up a set of specific formulas if we don't want to just wing it.  At the very least, Nasoa should declare the year every now and then.

Well the medieval period was 1000 years.  Few technologies were discovered.  There would be not that many events of interest.

I would say things happened even more slowly during the ancient era, which was longer.  The medieval age at least had some neat wars going on.  It makes sense to scale down as eras become more advanced and things are able to happen faster.

The Aqueducts of Erinaum are completed.  All foreign slaves are sent home.

Erinaum makes its first shipment of 1077 Shédñaleks of lumber to Avalonia by Sea.  Erinaum is waiting for the Iron to be shipped back at the proposed rate.

The iron is sent at the said ammount by sea as well.

Frontrox has one week to check in, otherwise I'm going to just flood the mines with or without him. I'm tired of waiting.

I'll think of something later.

Very good then. I won't flood the mines for the time being.

Alrighty, landslide poll.

For the time being it will be year= page number*10, until we reach a point where it can be agreed to slow down. Resource dump will be on Wednesday.

how about this?

page number is x axis and year is y axis
