The Samurai didn't come out of China though.

I was kidding ;-;
I'd not like to say that I am smarter than you either.  Erinaum knows little of Caprican culture.

Updated OP with my Military strength.

+5 if you know about the game I'm referencing.

Military

Katana Samurai
units: 2500

Katana Samurai are an elite heavy infantry unit. They form part of the main line in battle charging forward to engage the enemy in close combat.

Naginata Samurai
units: 2000

The Naginata is a long staff with a curved blade. These men excel in forming pike-lines to protect bowmen against infantry and cavalry charges. They also have the ability to fight swordmen from a longer range, making them less vulnerable.

Bow Samurai
units: 5000

It's as simple as it sounds, excellent bowmen that are also trained with swords. They are the backbone of any Nihonian army.

Kisho Ninja
units: 30

Kisho Ninja have mastered the art of invisibility, making them highly effective assassins who possess terrifying supernatural abilities. Their skills are actually the product of a lifetime extensive training, cunning, and the clever use of misdirection.

I guess my army is more like the Byzantine Empire's army, it was close to russia, which my empire is like.  :cookieMonster:

I have a pretty well rounded army that's pretty much unlike any in real history. Plenty of archers and cavalry. Prefer to use barbarians much like the civilization described in Moore's Utopian society.

Avalonia has a high enough population and technology rivaled only by Erinaum's (some of which was gifted by Avalonia), that even if barbarians were not used, my troops could put up quite a fight.

Swat, your my ally, but I must point out that my navy is better than yours. I've got more ships simply because I've been making them longer, I paid you for the iron ship tech, and I've been using catapults on ships as well. I'd say we're pretty much even in terms of naval power.

Avalonia's far side expedition returns after suffering from an unknown disease at sea. AValonian physicians have come to the conclusion that the crews fell victim to malnourishment. Further inquiry will be made into the matter to ensure nautical saftey.

Cases of insanity have appeared in Masona. Some fear starts to arise among citizens, not knowing what is wrong with these people.

2 Nihonese trading ships set off for Erinaum and Avalonia loaded with items we're willing to trade/sell.

They contain the following:
-Rice
-Sugar
-Bananas
-Plated Heavy Samurai Armor
-Katanas

They both have The Shogun's diplomats aboard to discuss.

Avalonia is interested in purchasing weaponry and armor. Avalonia is prepared to pay in silver, though Nihon is free to name its price.

Please note, we aren't selling modern weapons and armor for it would give away our current technology. What sort of weapons are you interested in?

Now don't be god-modding though.

Erinaum allows the Slaintean settlers and civilians a year to leave the nwely purchased territory.

Erinamian soldiers depart from the mandate regions and allow the Slaintean government to take control.  Erinamian soldiers line up along the border of the new Erinamian expansion to make sure civilians aren't smuggling any illegal substances or information out of Erinaum.

Nasoa, if you have the old map, please redraw the border so that Erinaum possesses the old "New Nexia" territory.

Stop expanding, you're scaring my government officials...

Also, I own the barbarian lands and that empty part next to Rossiya Imperii. Update the loving map!

All a part of winning wars.

No, I have no reason to expand southward.  I am a rapidly growing Asian empire, Front; my people need room to settle.

What, it seems like you are super-advanced and just sprung up randomly overnight.  It's sketchy.
