Off Topic Copy Fads - By making a big deal out of them, they grow

Aplem, stop being mad and instead of fueling the fires and making people want to do it, report and move on.

Also, I realise I didn't need to make a thread about it, but I just figured it would add on to the fact that off topic will be flooded by more and more spam if you continue to feed the fire. So instead of just complaining and whining, just report it, hope badspot or ephi deletes it, and continue with your day.

I have done significant changes to this topic due to several whining individuals and due to the fact that this started off as a parody thread about aplem.

By giving fads more attention, more people will want to join in.

Oh really, because telling someone not to make people want to make more threads will definatly stop them.

in reality, it makes it happen more, people people read the 'stop this fad blah blah' and read about the fad then join in.

when in fact next time a fad could come around, no 'stop this' topic appears, and suddenly the fad dies.

but instead, someone always makes a 'stop this' thread right when it's dying; example aplem; the fad was already dying and he will spark it back to life.

and calling me a dumbass because you're not intelligent enough to think about the big picture and knowing probably nothing about how sheep work is pretty cool.
