Leave the robes to the people who can blow faces off with their minds.
Depending on the enchantment, give it to the class that is best with it.

+Healing > Mage
+Melee > Warrior
+Stealth/dexterity > Rogue or Archer

Bitch, the ring probably wasn't even a warrior or rogue/archer based enchantment.
We fought a loving mage. Common sense dictates that he would be using a ring that's useful.
