Author Topic: I got a %171.4 on my robotics final.  (Read 4358 times)

scolar systems!!! like solar systems but.. a typo? i guess?
yeah, in high school. in college no, all the ivy leagues and etc grade on a curve. all the best schools.

colleges arent competing for county taxes and threatened to be shut down by the state for doing an unsatisfactory job. colleges take private money.
they dont even have to grade if they dont want.

lol. Graded curves are kinda abusable. Just imagine if everyone in class decided to only answer one question. After modifying the results, everyone would get a free C. :D

lol schools that grade on curve are the stuffty ones. stuffty education usually.

its a scam to raise the success of an otherwise borderline failed teaching record.
to bump the school's scores against the county.

I always like curves because they bump me over a one hundred percent so I look extremely smart. :D

We simply don't know grading curves.
You guys just show me something completely new and expect me to understand it.
Just because you know doesn't mean I know.
I don't have a database in my head of every single school system of every single country.

It's the fact that you claimed America had screwed up their scholar system that angered some of us. Proceeding to deny the concept of getting over a one hundred percent didn't help either ...

exactly :3
atleast with private schools. and private colleges > public colleges anyway.

nah it was just that he said scolar, we're all jerks and like to make fun of people

Compared to our systems that's 'forgeted up', and I just head from Leo that you can just get C's if you don't do anything atall.

Nice reading Colten, mind edit next time please.
Not the edit now but the edit above that edit.
I responded before you added that so this post is irrelevant

Learns robotics

Doesn't put a percent symbol after the number.

our public education system is pretty boned at the moment

What's the edit timeout on these forums?
As in, how long does it take after you posted and edit until the edit becomes visible to everyone?

Most likely something around 30 seconds or a minute.

What screwed up state education systems do you guys go to?
My grades have never been curved, nor can you sit here and do nothing and get a C.

I go to scool problem Fred? :cookieMonster:

It's fine, it was an alien idea to you. Just don't get so worked up. And getting free Cs like that rarely ever happens, nobody decides to answer horribly so the entire class can all get hardly decent grades.

Solid 3 minutes, if I non-ninja-edited it would have shown up am I right?
Side question, what's a C translated into 0-10/10 grades?
