Author Topic: I got a %171.4 on my robotics final.  (Read 4357 times)

I was the only one in web design to get a perfect score on the test

lol schools that grade on curve are the stuffty ones. stuffty education usually.

its a scam to raise the success of an otherwise borderline failed teaching record.
to bump the school's scores against the county.
My teacher did, specifically on this test. None of my classes curve besides this one assignment.

wrong
percent can go up higher than 100

you're still in 6th grade aren't you

What the forget.
Your school mustn't give math.
Percent.
PER CENT.
Cent = French for hundred
Amount per hundred.
171 isn't a valid amount per hundred because the maximum is one hundred.
armyguy
I'm afraid that your school is the one that doesn't teach math

sorry to have to let you know at such a time as this

Yeah none of that stuff here.
You just get your grade (in %), average grade, and the median grade.
I'm sorry my English teachers keeps bashing into my face its SC and not SCH, a common Dutch word used in pretty much every word you Americans woudl use SC in.
So then there's an exeption and mr. 'Gramatically-Correct national socialist' hops in to fling insults at the not-natively speaking European guy who pretty much taught himself English, woo. You should feel a rush of statisfaction now.
you're a dumbass sir
there's a such thing as extra credit you drill bit.

Some Tests have optional questions that you can do for bonus points. Not impossible.

That 12. Is that the number of questions?

That 12. Is that the number of questions?
Number of points possible. There were more questions than that initially, but after he curved the grade, the amount of points possible went down. That's why I have 20 points out of 12.

Thanks for reading all of the previous pages to avoid unneccecary insults that make you look dumb.

1 Yes, Berkley is the best public school in the nation and its not even ranked at the very top

Several of Berkley's program are often ranked number 1 in the world and are competitive with MIT (I know you have a boner for MIT). Really, the only major difference between public and private universities is how the school gets their funding.

Am I the only one baffled by the fact that this guy has a robotics class?! What kind of super expensive private school has robotics? He's 14! Mind blown.

Well technically you can't have more than 100%. EDIT: That is without comparing an object to another object, or to the same object over a period of time, but tests are not done by comparison.

But you can indeed have 100% of the required amount and also have X% of a bonus amount.
For example:
19/20 (95%) on the test and then also
10/10 (100%) on the bonus questions of the test

But the problem with that is then the extra credit has to be weighted all funny like to actually mimic 10 points out of 0.

So the simplest way to add extra credit happens to be having it actually be extra credit.
