I AM NOT
REPEAT
NOT
FORCING A FAD

I have thought about this for a while, but I've only had The Rickroll Song (Never Gonna Give You Up) and You Are a Pirate as candidates.

But then...
I had a revelation.

What about What is Love? by Haddaway? It's perfect, it's as much a part of the Interwebs as the other two.

So, denizens of the Internet, it is in your hands - which song is the Internet International Anthem?

EDIT: Since you people appear to be taking this very seriously, this is a fun thread. It is intended to be just a fun little thread to see what song everybody thinks suits the internet the best.

The internet is a gigantic series of tubes, there can't be just one theme song.

The internet is a gigantic series of tubes, there can't be just one theme song.

Entire nations have but one theme song.

All the internet is at 4chan. we're only about 0.55% of the internet.

If you want to suggest a theme song for the internet, start a thread on a more popular website.

Also, this could lead to a potential forced fad, making you a potential candidate for flame. Even if you do say you're not forcing a fad.

Just sayin...

The internet does not need a theme song, and even if for some moronic reason it did, the last thing it should be is a stupid meme from 2004.

The internet is not a nation. This idea is roughly equivalent to saying books should have a theme song.

This would look better on 4chan.

Fun  =\= imbecilic fads.

You are all taking this very seriously. What the forget, did this really seem like a serious topic to you?

So are you suggesting that this is just a pointless spam thread in an attempt to start stuff?

I guess if it's only a joke...

I literally facepalmed when I read this.

Can you at least attempt to accept a thread made in a lighthearted, joking manner?

Let's make a song about people flinging stuff at each other, starting handicapped cultural trends, and being generally much worse people than they are in day to day life. It's perfect!

the internet is for research song is the answer

The only sound track-ish thing that i can think of when it comes to the inter net is-
WHAT THE FU-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
