What I am suggesting is a zombie gamemode specifically for slayer. Not a zombie gamemode that is compatible with slayer. It's basically a zombified TDM game.
So obviously you have two teams; survivor team and zombie team.
Players on the survivors team have one life and when they are killed they automatically join the zombie team.
Players on the zombie team have unlimited amount of lives, slower respawn time, slow regenerating health, only attack with their hands and
*1an optional feature to break bricks that I've just thought of.
Also zombie team should have a handful of stupid zombie bots to liven things up, about 1-5 depending on the player count.
*1Breakable brick feature.
Zombies can't break any normal brick. Zombies can only break bricks if you named them "breakable." This way people can have builds like houses and name barricades as "breakable" that way zombies can break the barricades but not the house itself. You can take a peek at Salvage mod on their non-breakable static brick feature in which you name a brick static and it is invulnerable.
So the breakable bricks then fake kill and they don't respawn at all. The bricks only respawn as soon as the minigame reset.
If you can, implement how much damage threshold it takes before the barricades can be broken.
I guess you could find a way to have barricades repairable with a wrench. Not sure how hard that is because I don't know how to script.
The minigame can reset in a variety of ways.
Timer runs out
Survivors die out
zombies captured a specific point for a long period of time
all survivors made it to the safe zone
#2Zombies destroyed a supply cache you were suppose to defend.
#2Survivors destroyed unlimited zombie spawners.
#2Two new interesting physical gamemode objectives I've just thought of.
Zombie spawner; an object that spawns infinite amount of zombies. (Sort of similar to Gauntlet Dark legacy in which unlimited zombies spawn from graves)
Destroy all zombie spawners and survivors win.
Survivor supply cache; The only thing that is keeping the survivors alive. It dispenses health and whatever you want. If that is destroyed the survivors lose the game.
Could have a survival version with waves.
Each wave it increases the number of bot zombies and their health.
This would be cool.
and have events like
"OnWaveChange"
"OnWaveInterrupted" - all players died
"OnLastWave" - For reset settings
