Author Topic: Making a bunch of Blockland based trees  (Read 5116 times)

I made this apple tree, it's basically my round tree with basic round textures.

I made a replica of the pine tree, it's so close to the real thing.

So right now I got the true pine tree. I don't think it came out good, let me know what you think.

I'm going to make more trees later, give me some ideas on next trees.

Cool will you release?

Well they aren't exactly bricks. They are interior files for maps.

If someone wants to make a brick version of these I'd be happy to give out measurements.

The layers on the pine tree should get smaller as they go up. But otherwise it looks really good.

the apples on the apple tree should be more blocko

Are these interiors? You should use shapes in my opinion.

They are interior .dif files.

I don't know what you mean by shapes, is that a program?

The pine tree's not that bad, but what does it look like smooth-shaded?

Like it does in game. That's literally the best I can smoothshade in constructor.

By the way I'm making these for people who want them in their maps. I'm going to make an entire Blocko forest first before I do though.

I mean shapes by DTSes, it's basically the standard model format for the game.

Only point in making a DTS for them would be either if someone made the BLB or if you wanted it as an item.

I don't know how to work out that BLB format anyways.

Nice! though the round trees look a little weird.

Those round trees are actually a brick.
