Author Topic: Tranquilizer gun, Unconscious playertype and pickup script.  (Read 490 times)

Two add-ons that go hand-in-hand. The gun would shoot fast darts that do no damage, but 'take' a player down.

It takes three seconds before the dart takes effect. When hit, you would hear a "thwip" sound. Three seconds later your playertype is switched to "Unconscious player". It's basically an immobile playertype that appears to be laying on the ground. You stay like this for two minutes, and then you switch back to your previous playertype.

While out, other players can move your body by clicking on you. It acts like the throw mod sort of, only instead of throwing, you drop the player.

i think two minutes is a bit much, and the tranquilizer should be like one shot and it's done, it'd be overpowered if you could be spraying lots of people with it. also, the person unconscious, it would be cool if they would have random flashes of black on their screen.

I was thinking like the tranq. gun from deus ex where it has a limited amount of ammo, and it has a slow reload.

that sounds nice, i suggested the black color since they would be slowly losing consciousness, but white is ok, too.

black is not possible unless 1 everyone downloads a client sided addon or 2 badspot includes it in the game

By default there is white or blood red
